For those unaware here is a tip for one of the fastest ways to level.
First save up heaps of candies for Pokemon such as Pidgey, Catapie and Weedle as each one costs 12 to evolve.
Get as many Pokemon as you can to evolve with the candies you have e.g. 36 Candies = 3 Pidgeys
Start a lucky egg for double experience, you can get them from the store or occasionally from PokeStops
Then one by one evolve all of your Pokemon together.
With a lucky egg running you will receive 1000XP per evolution.
As an added measure, if you can try and align your egg hatching with this lucky egg period you will make massive xp in a short 30 min burst.
